It was prophesied that we would come together to create this game as a gift of The Old One's madness to the world. Our game encapsulates the genre of cosmic horror - that of the amorphous, metaphysical, and extraterrestrial in nature - while not falling into the “madness is horror” trope that stigmatizes mental illness.
+What was the inspiration of the game?
What made your team decide to make this game specifically?
We wanted to make this game to depict the insanity in cosmic horror without using the crunch of a fixed sanity meter. Our inspirations include the movie Annihilation and the shows The X-Files and The 100.
